SNL, 5 year decline

For the last 7 years I've personally been a huge fan of the show Saturday Night Live. I loved the days of Jimmy Fallon and Tracey Morgan, where they acutally put thought and talent into their sketches, which made the show funny and creative, but after these two actors left the show years ago I believe the shows has declined into a somewhat repetitive mix of returning hosts like Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin attempting to breath some life into the show, and now it feels as if every sketch follows the same stupid funny plot, with little creativity mixed. For the future of SNL I only hope they will have a better cast of charcters and sketches.

  1. Celebrity Jeporady was the best in my opinion.

  2. Interesting...I remember when Jimmy Fallon first appeared on the show and I thought, "Who does this guy think he is trying to take over the one and only Will Farrell?" SNL, I believe, replaced the original satirical T.V. show, Ed Sullivan. No one thought that that program could be replaced either. Well, here we are decades later still airing. I bet this show will bounce back soon.
