Personally this guy may seem like a huge idiot but, hmmm well I guess he is a huge idiot, who would park a car on mountion knowing you would get fined for it just for the heck of it? Really man, this just further reinforces my opinion that British people are weird.

SNL, 5 year decline

For the last 7 years I've personally been a huge fan of the show Saturday Night Live. I loved the days of Jimmy Fallon and Tracey Morgan, where they acutally put thought and talent into their sketches, which made the show funny and creative, but after these two actors left the show years ago I believe the shows has declined into a somewhat repetitive mix of returning hosts like Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin attempting to breath some life into the show, and now it feels as if every sketch follows the same stupid funny plot, with little creativity mixed. For the future of SNL I only hope they will have a better cast of charcters and sketches.

Education k-12, the modern day assembly line

Over the past 31 years the United State's education process has been in steady decline. Not only have average SAT scores, ACT scores and students' average GPAs have been falling, but also college attendance rates as well. These declines are largely due to the creation of the ED (U.S. Department of Education). The ED have created a learning environment for k-12 student similar to an assembly line, where students' schedules are split between 5-9 periods a day, each school has varying schedules but all are similar. In this assembly line atmosphere, students either excel or are simply left behind in the process. This atmosphere also dissuades individuality and rather promotes sameness between students, this is a huge mistake, because students individuality and creativity has pushed America to great heights in the past and straining it now will only further slow ourselves down.

4 Poems

Emerging Light
Do you see it?
the dying light of our generation
the dimming beacon of what was once brilliant
but under the dying light
a new color arises
whose colors are more splendid than the last
So now do you see it?
the new light that will surpass our own
and lead us through the eons

Two Problems
No! Say the Republicans
Never! Say the Democrats
Obama pleads, c'mon guys
But ignorance cries, "shut up"
The people shout, "hurry"
The country is sick
No, Justice is weak! Says Ignorance
"Ignorance is evil", states Justice
But both are wrong

Calm
She sat silently
humming softly
her red dress a contrast to her pale skin
Looking small in the large chair
staring at the front desk
waiting for the nurse to tell her about her mother
she looked as if seeing through another world
ignorant of the severity of her situation
yet she sat calmly waiting
for her mother

Soft Thunder
Into the sky the lighting strikes
its vibrant light beckons you to stare
its roaring thunder turns you away
but do not fear thunder and lighting
for its harsh sounds make good company in the night
and its brilliant light a reminder of nature's splender
